Ahh, the nest cam sounds lovely! That will be wonderful to see them hatching and growing. I've been meaning to set some cameras up here, to capture some of the wildlife activity. Especially the things that are going on at night. It's a whole other world, but it needs a device with some 'night vision' to observe it all... 🏯😎🏯
My husband set up a bunch of them - apparently the night vision is built in. It turned out that there is a lot activity around here while we're sleeping! We've gotten footage of foxes, coyotes, deer, porcupines, skunks, woodchucks, turkeys, and a couple appearances by a bobcat and once a moose, strolling by my vegetable patch - those guys are HUGE. The thing my husband finds most annoying is that spiders seem to be attracted to the cameras and keep activating them while spinning webs over the lenses! 🕸
too many windows
to see past, not to see through
what could I have missed
Windows can definitely hide a lot of mysteries behind them, for sure... 🏯😎🏯
Cold wind enters crack
Motel window chipped away
I froze stayed the night.
Hopefully, it's not the 'Bates Motel'! Haha... 🏯😎🏯
I once had a view
Looked out my window to see
Mountains, progress now.
That's so true! It's very sad the way those views of nature's wonders, and beautiful open spaces, are being slowly eroded away... 🏯😎🏯
Thank you , Carl !
I'm glad it was THAT kind of murder!
We have a robin nesting over our deck, so my hubby set up a nest cam so we can watch the babies grow!

Not to mention the random dogs and cats on the loose...
Descending slowly
Like white cathedral windows
Winter snow arrives
Ahh yes, snow always looks lovely when it piles up around windows. Even if it's just the fake stuff out of a can! Haha... 🏯😎🏯
I'm in Arizona, high temp of 112 F today. I can only indulge in thoughts of snow. That's funny! I should get a can of that stuff.
This side or that side
Let in the natural light
Nose prints from the cat
And of course, that usually happens right after you've just cleaned them! Haha... 🏯😺😎😺🏯
Exactly!
🏯😎👍🏯
my window is like
a glass darkly reflecting
time for the Windex
That's definitely going to require a lot of elbow grease! Haha... 🏯😎🏯
I hate doing windows.
Oooh wait, I've got another one! here it goes:
Car wash girl waves Hi
"WASH ME" scrawled in muddy grime
begging for a scrub
The car is ready for its sponge bath! Haha... 🏯😎🏯
Yep, my car is really cruddy.
It’s the windows then
Where else can the soul be found
Always the windows
Ahh, yes! A glimpse of the soul, by looking in someone's eyes. They are very special windows, for sure... 🏯😎🏯
Thank you , Chris
You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the Prompt... 🏯😎🏯
Thank you for the shoutout.
You're very welcome! Have a great week... 🏯😎🏯
Heavy, stifling heat.
It cracks windows in their frames,
sneaks in like a thief.
Clear glass between us
My hand touches cool smoothness
You are out of reach
Lovely, touching haiku!
small windows, tall walls
if windows and walls tell tales
of my childhood home
One sided windows
Many opportunities
Missed in reflection
Windows opened doors
Making tasks much easier
Now replacing jobs
Panes, pains, paynes hustled
Through windows, keeping us sharp
Success or menace?
We could have a lot of fun with this one.
