Ahh yes, coulrophobia! A lot more people are developing that these days. Mainly due to 'It' and 'The Joker'... 🏯😎🏯

Never saw either movie. I just think they’re creepy. Went to a circus once. Big mistake. Ugh!

Haha! That's brilliant! Three kids running around, and getting themselves into mischief, can definitely become a circus very quickly indeed... 🏯😎🏯

Ahh yes, the 'Freak Shows'. That was a big component of the earlier circuses, for sure. P. T. Barnum was particularly known for his displays of remarkable and unique oddities. Thanks for joining in... 🏯😎🏯

Nineteen-sixty-six

Astrodome, its summer home

Pop Eye the best show

The circus had partnered with Astroworld to make the outer circular court of the Astrodome its summer home. Pop Eye was a sideshow attraction of a guy who could pop his eyeballs out of their sockets. He was the most outrageous and amazing act I had ever seen to that time. Now, whenever I sneeze and automatically squeeze my eyelids shut, I know why.

Those kind of exciting and unusual things definitely stay with you, for sure. That sounds great. And what a perfect name for the act, too! I don't remember seeing anything like that here. It was mainly contortionists and things that were the sideshow acts at the circuses I went to. But it was still very impressive the way they could fit into a tiny box! Haha... 🏯😎🏯

It’s a two stanza one:

Dog and pony show,

When the circus comes to town.

“Step right up, don’t go!”

A wild ride I see-

Up, down, around and over

What can set me free?
