This is way too cool to be this short! Great world you created so quickly and an idea so intriguing I wanted to see more of these characters interacting with it. Great story!
Thanks! That is much appreciated. This was a really fun idea to play around with, and there's definitely a lot more places it could go. I'm glad you enjoyed it... 😎
Thanks, Rod! That is much appreciated. It's something a bit different to what I usually do, but I've been trying out some new things this month to see if it can help me reach a wider audience. In fact, next week, I'm hoping to share my first batch of poetry! Haha! 😎
Thanks! I love trying to do something a bit different and unexpected with my stories, if possible, and I'm definitely fond of squeezing in a twist whenever I can! It's especially great when you can end Flash Fiction/Microfiction on a twist, as I think it adds something a bit extra to them, like a little cherry on top. I'm glad you enjoyed it... 😎
I really lik it. I love that you’re trying new things too! Keeps it fresh. Whether it works out or not. I do love that it can be done with micro fiction. I never thought it was possible until I tried it haha. Looking forward to more!!!
I need to get amove on on some micro fiction aha. Been slacking off lately but I needed to get some things moving on my end project wise.
It's definitely difficult to fit everything in at this time of year, with the Holidays coming up. But the great thing about Microfiction is it's so short, so it's something you can work on, even if there's only a few minutes to spare. I love trying new things on here and experimenting. I think it does keep things fresh, for sure. In fact, next week, I'm hoping to share my first batch of Haiku! Haha! 😎
I only started writing them a few months ago, but I've been having a great time. Those 17 syllables definitely run out very quickly, though, that's for sure! Haha... 😎
They're soo much fun to write. I don't usually go deep with mine, just something funny haha. But yes! If we thought microfiction was tough, it's even tougher in haiku form
Thanks! That is much appreciated. This was a really enjoyable story to work on, and it's always a fun challenge trying to figure out a way to take things in an unexpected direction. I'm glad you enjoyed it... 😎
You're very welcome! I love the ending, too. I had those last two lines in mind from the beginning, and it was a lot of fun trying to work out the best path to get there. Thanks for reading and commenting. That is much appreciated, and I'm glad you enjoyed it... 😎
I love experimenting with different approaches to writing, and playing around with styles and genres. Sometimes, I do plan things more fully, especially for longer pieces, but in many ways, working more spontaneously and allowing things to develop more organically can often be more beneficial, because it can really help you discover things you probably wouldn't have otherwise. And you're absolutely right, it always makes the journey so much more exciting and fun... 😎
I love the world you created here. And, oh, that ending—so good!
Thanks! That is much appreciated. Dreams are always a really fun subject to explore. I'm glad you enjoyed it... 😎
