With the story about the ring, I found myself wondering...does he still give it to her and never say anything? Every time he sees it, he's going to remember the entire ordeal from start to finish.

That's a great question! He definitely strikes me as the sort of person who's probably already lost the receipt, so he almost certainly has no choice but to still give it to her. Hopefully, it's something they can look back on and laugh about together in years to come. It may even be a crazy story they end up telling their grandkids! Haha! Thanks for reading... 😎

The Ring one sent me 🤣🤣🤣

Haha! I was hoping that would be a fun one to end on. It's certainly quite a predicament. Especially if he needs to walk through a metal detector any time soon! I'm glad you enjoyed it... 😎

Happy Holidays, Chris! This is a really fun and compelling series. Well done, again! My favorite image is the snow globe.

Omgoodness Chris! ha ha ha! I can't decide which one is my favourite! They are all great! The Turducken made me queasy! lol Trying a bit of catchup this Saturday before all the family gathers at my house (not since 2017!) for Christmas. No anxiety here or a minor head-cold caught in splendid time from babysitting the busy rascals! Is that Christmas company flash fiction gonna be my reality? hummm... ha ha! Hope all is well and you're enjoying the weekend. ox

Haha! Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed them. The 'Turducken' is, incredibly, a real thing. It's apparently delicious, but it's definitely an unusual way of preparing dinner! It can be tricky when you've got all the family gathering under one roof, for sure, as there's so much to organise and manage throughout the festivities. But I hope it all goes well. Have a wonderful Christmas... 🎄😎🎄

These are pure fiction pieces or.... you've got me worried about the Christmas experiences you might've had! Lol. They all have something that isn't quite right. So the three bird roast is a thing. I'd never heard of it before. Gooducken in England and Turducken in Louisiana!

Haha! Some of the elements in these are based on real things, but for the most part, they're definitely Fiction. Thankfully, none of my Christmases have been quite as disastrous as the ones these poor souls are having! And you're absolutely right, the turkey in a 'Turducken' is sometimes replaced with goose as an alternative, particularly in the UK, which means it then becomes a 'Gooducken'. Thanks for reading... 😎

Supposedly a bird stuffed with an octopus or squid is a thing, but then the world's a big place and you'll sooner or later find someone doing something not even for the memes, but in earnest, whatever it is.

Yes! The 'Cthulhu Turkey'! That's a more recent one they've come up with, which really does look like something out of a Horror film! Haha! Thanks for reading... 😎

Great work, Chris! I’ve never had Turducken, but they show it after the NFL games on thanksgiving all the time.

Thanks, Rod! That is much appreciated. Amazingly, a 'Turducken' is a real thing, yes. It's not quite as gruesome as I've made it sound here, but it's definitely an unusual way of cooking your dinner, for sure! Haha... 😎

I would try it, Chris!
