Welcome to the ‘House of Haiku’, where the challenge is to create something inspired by the Prompt below using only 17 syllables, laid out in three lines, containing five, seven, and five syllables respectively.
Let’s have some fun writing together!
On this day, in 1979, Bob Dylan released his nineteenth studio album, ‘Slow Train Coming’. Having recently converted to Christianity, this set of songs were the first to be heavily influenced by his newly found faith, and this is a theme that has remained ingrained in his music ever since. The album is also notable for featuring the single, ‘Gotta Serve Somebody’, which went on to win the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance, which was introduced the following year, in 1980.
And so, our Prompt for this week is: TRAIN
