On this day, in 1896, Henry Ford tested his first automobile, the 'Quadricycle', by taking it for a spin on the streets of Detroit. Capable of travelling at up to 20mph, and steered using a tiller from a comfortably seated position, it paved the way for the future of the entire motor industry.
And so, our Prompt for this week is: CAR
Family road trips,
‘I Spy’ games, ‘C’ always first,
And we’d laugh, “It’s car!"
